A friend of mine was having trouble thinking of a theme for her daughter’s birthday party. She was going to have cupcakes served as opposed to a single cake, because the little guests all wanted their own fancy cupcake. And I mean fancy. We’re talking Italian Creme and Black Forest Cherry, no vanilla or plain yellow. Such works of art deserve to be properly displayed, but she was at a loss as to how to do it. She had a cake plate, but that’s rather plain, and these cuppies need more cowbell. So I suggested making cupcake stands as party favors.
You’ll need:
- various bread plates, or small dessert plates.
- several short candlesticks, glass or ceramic.
- E-6000 glue.
